Football Concession Stand no longer nameless
Friday’s assembly featured the unveiling of a new sign that will sit atop the football concession stand. Beginning next Friday, when FA hosts John Bapst, Pony Nation will have the opportunity to feed at “The Trough” during all home football games.

Pony Golf Team Qualifies for State Championship
The Pony golf team traveled to Jato Highlands yesterday to compete in the PVC Team Championships. The team finished in third place amongst 15 schools, good enough to qualify for the State Championship in mid-October. Ponies get back on track with big comeback win...
Trailing 1-0 at the half against Central, the #2 team in Class C, FA stormed back with unassisted second-half goals from Monica Miles and Gabi Henderson to come away with a huge 2-1 victory. The win improves the Ponies to 8-2 and places them fourth in the Class B standings.

Boys' soccer picks up first win
Trevor Weymouth’s second-half goal at PCHS broke a 1-1 tie and delivered Foxcroft its first win of the season. Colby Bombero (pictured below in an earlier game against Presque Isle) put the Ponies on the board with a scoring strike just 20 seconds into the game. Mike Lopez recorded 14 saves in net for FA.

Seniors defend Homecoming title
The seniors (pictured above) were able to hold off the hard-charging juniors and come away with their second straight Homecoming title. They finished with 74 total points. The juniors (pictured below) finished second with 67, the freshmen took third with 58, and the sophomores slumped to a fourth-place finish with 53 points.

Senior Chelsie Oldfield (pictured above) finished third in a five-school Cross Country meet at FA on Friday afternoon. Oldfield ran the 3.1 mile race in 23:05 while teammate Clare Stephens posted an 11th-place finish with a time of 25:35. Adrienne Carmack (John Bapst) set the pace at 21:41.
