Update: Saturday’s Valentine’s Day dance moved to Sebec 4-Corners Event Center

There is still time to celebrate Valentine’s Day… with the FA Alumni Band!
This upcoming Saturday, February 18th, you can treat your significant other to a Valentine’s Day Formal Ball at the Sebec 4-Corners Event Center. The Foxcroft Academy Alumni Jazz Band will be providing classy dance music for the annual Valentine’s Day Formal Ball. There will be a dance floor for dancing, plenty of hors d’oeuvres, and a cash bar located in the dining area.
Over the past few years, this event has been organized by a number of local organizations in the Dover-Foxcroft Area, including Womancare, Friends of Central Hall, the Foxcroft Academy Alumni Band, and the Chamber of Commerce. This year, the Foxcroft Academy Alumni Band and Foxcroft Academy Music Boosters are taking the lead and keeping the annual tradition going.
Tickets ($25 each) can be purchased at Mr. Paperback or at Foxcroft Academy’s main office. There are a limited number of tickets available. You can also reserve tickets by calling or emailing Shane Ellis at 244-3729 or shane.ellis@foxcroftacademy.org.
Also, you can pay $5 to receive a professional dance lesson from Lily Herne prior to the dance (7:00 to 7:45)—prepare for the dance with the Foxtrot, West Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Cha Cha, Salsa, Mambo, Waltz, and more!
All Proceeds will benefit the Foxcroft Academy Music Program.
Note: This event was originally planned for the Sangerville Grange Hall. Tickets and some flyers will reflect the Sangerville location instead of the Sebec 4-Corners Event Center, where the event is now being held.
